The Library and Parks and Recreation are excited to offer a free, monthly concert series at the Crowell Chapel. On the 1st Tuesday of every month, join us at 6:00PM for music by the sea.

Singer/songwriter Brian Alex's quirky personality and unique pop-savvy style have been a significant and colorful piece of the World-Pop act Entrain since 1995 and won a Boston Music Award for “Best Live Show”.

His most recent release, "Reason To Feel Good” featured the single “Lucky Just to Be Alive, which garnered #2 song of the year at Martha’s Vineyard’s WMVY radio station, only behind Adele at #1. Entrain can also be heard regularly on Kenny Chesney’s “No Shoes Radio” XM station.

Brian Alex's songwriting has been described as sunshine-y and soulful. He’s written/performed jingles for Cabot Stain, Sylvania Light Bulb, and wrote the theme song for PBS’s New Orleans season of "This Old House". “This Christmas, is his featured song in the movie, “A Christmas Kiss”. He is the owner/founder of Custom Love Songs, a unique business creating one-of-a-kind songs for weddings, anniversaries and special occasions.

He has recorded and/or share the stage with Entrain, The Missing Persons, Donna Summer, Bo Diddley, Bob Weir, and Edwin McCain. Been the opening act for Sheryl Crow, Matchbox 20, Huey Lewis, Dispatch, David Crosby, etc…

Brian has also had the honor of performing solo for President Bill Clinton.

Registrations are encouraged below. Due to the registration volume we will be hosting this event at the Crowell Chapel. Parking during the event is allowed on both sides of Rosedale Ave. Please register even if the event is full and please call us to cancel your registration if you are unable to attend.
